The Czech Prison Service recently published an article about the successful completion of a welding course in Rýnovice Prison, where inmates received their welding certificates. This success is yet another proof that vocational training and retraining play a key role in the process of reintegrating individuals after serving their sentences back into society.

VOLONTÉ CZECH has long supported educational programs aimed at increasing the employability of incarcerated individuals. The welding course is one of many retraining programs that help inmates acquire not only professional skills but also self-confidence and better chances of securing employment in the labor market.

Thanks to initiatives like these, the risk of recidivism decreases, and the chances of stable employment after release increase. Experience shows that graduates of such programs are more motivated to work legally and have better prospects for reintegration into society.
