Information about the project
VOLONTÉ CZECH, o.p.s. and its partner Gramigna OdV are implementing a project focusing on the issue of support for families of convicts and appropriate methods of working with them. In cooperation with the partner, the project focuses on evaluating the methods used to work with this target group and creating a comprehensive methodology for working with this particular target group - prisoners serving prison sentences (VTOS) and their families, which could be used by social workers, educators in prisons and NGO workers supporting families of prisoners through work with families of convicts, accompaniment and support that has a direct impact on the welfare of the target group. At the same time, we want to raise public awareness of the impact and problems of families of convicts related to their stigmatisation in society.
