The VOL Rozvoj NNO Project Nears Completion: Focus on Equal Opportunities and Strategic Direction

The VOL Rozvoj NNO project (reg. no. CZ.03.01.02/00/22_011/0000284) has successfully concluded its third reporting period. During this phase, our team concentrated on activities related to the development of a key strategic document – the Strategic Plan of VOLONTÉ, with a strong emphasis on equal opportunities for the period 2025–2028. The document is currently in the phase of incorporating comments and suggestions, with the final proofreading to be carried out by Mgr. Švarcová, an expert on gender issues.
The principles of gender equality have been systematically applied across all our services and activities for a long time. We continuously monitor gender-disaggregated data, adapt our methodologies and communication approaches to the specifics of different target groups, and actively respond to the varying needs of our clients. Gender differences significantly influence not only access to services but also the expectations of clients – and we tailor our professional and practical work accordingly.
As part of the third period, a draft of the Equal Opportunities Code was created and became the subject of a team working session. This document is intended to serve as an internal tool for strengthening a respectful and inclusive organizational culture.
An important element of the project was also accredited training. Participants engaged not only in expert topics but also in practical skills such as communication, PR, self-presentation, and other areas crucial for the effective functioning of non-governmental organizations.
The VOL Rozvoj NNO project thus represents a key step toward the professionalization of the non-profit sector and the systematic promotion of equal opportunities both in internal processes and in direct work with clients.
