Save the Date: Roundtable on Working with People with Violent Behaviour

For more than 30 years, VOLONTÉ has been guided by the will to help. Our projects have long supported people serving prison sentences, their families, as well as the professionals who work with them.

That is why, in cooperation with the League of Open Men, we are organizing a roundtable within the project VOL Bez násilí (reg. no. CZ.03.02.01/00/24_069/0004882) for all involved stakeholders, including the General Directorate of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic and representatives of correctional facilities.

📍 LOM, Dukelských hrdinů 14, Prague

The aim of the meeting is to open a professional discussion and jointly prepare a training programme focused on effective work with people displaying violent behaviour. We believe that sharing experiences and seeking common approaches will strengthen the professional competencies of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic and contribute to the further development of practice.

One of the participants will be PhDr. Václav Jiřička, Ph.D., Chief Psychologist of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic, who will enrich the discussion with his expertise and many years of experience.
