On 24–25 August 2026, a methodological meeting of the GLM+ project implementation teams took place at the National Institute of Mental Health in Klecany. It followed the completion of the first pilot run of the GLM+ therapeutic programme and marked an important step in preparing its continuation.

The main aim of the meeting was to jointly evaluate the experience gained from the first pilot run and to use the feedback collected to further update the programme. Participants therefore focused on evaluating the first run, reviewing and updating the therapeutic manual, and practising risk assessment tools.

The GLM+ project is focused on developing and pilot-testing a specialized treatment programme for non-paraphilic perpetrators of sexually motivated crimes. It is implemented by VOLONTÉ in cooperation with the

Prison Service of the Czech Republic and the National Institute of Mental Health.

The findings from the first pilot run will now be used to finalize the methodological materials and prepare the following programme runs.

The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs – Podporujeme inovace (We Support Innovation).

The GLM+ project (reg. no. CZ.03.03.01/00/23_051/0004708) is funded by the Employment Operational Programme Plus and co-financed by the European Union.
