On 17 May 2026, we joined children of incarcerated parents at the "2x 45 Minutes" event organised for us by SK Slavia Praha.
The programme was symbolically divided into two halves. In the first part, the children enjoyed a football training session on Slavia's training pitches under the guidance of experienced coaches. They tried a variety of football drills, games and competitions, and had the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the environment where young footballers train.
The second part of the programme was dedicated to a tour of Eden Stadium. The children visited the Slavia museum, walked through the stadium and learned many interesting facts about the club's history and its present day. For many of them, seeing up close a place they knew from television broadcasts and football matches was a memorable experience in itself.
The entire day was held in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The aim of the event was above all to bring joy to the children, to acknowledge their everyday efforts, and to offer them an experience they will be able to cherish for a long time. Children whose parent is serving a prison sentence often face situations that are not common among their peers. That makes it all the more important when they are able to experience something extraordinary — to discover new environments, find inspiration, and set aside, at least for a moment, the worries they so often carry with them. Such experiences can be not only a source of joy, but also motivation and encouragement for the days ahead.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Slavia Praha for the invitation, their warm welcome, and the rich programme prepared for the children. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to take part in this event and to give the children a day full of movement, new experiences and positive emotions.
Thank you for a wonderful day and for the support you provide to children through activities like this.
