New Professional Training for Social Services Workers

In cooperation with Mgr. Lukáš Verner, VOLONTÉ CZECH, o.p.s. offers an accredited training course designed for professionals working with individuals affected by addiction after release from prison. The course is delivered in person, spans 8 instructional hours, and is accredited by the Czech Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs under number A2024/1626-SP/PC.
Who is the course for:
The course is intended for:
professionals in social prevention and counselling (SP, PSS),
employees of public administration,
experts working with people in social crisis or affected by addiction,
those providing ambulatory, residential, or outreach services.
The maximum number of participants is 12.
Course content:
This course provides a practical overview of:
addiction treatment options (both outpatient and residential),
specifics of post-penitentiary care and risk factors for recidivism,
cooperation with follow-up services to support reintegration,
common challenges faced after prison: addiction, employment, family relations.
Participants will gain skills for effectively working with clients affected by substance use after incarceration and learn how to better support their reintegration into society.
